During my second year at university, I started doing some PR & Social Media work for the butchers shop I worked in. What started out as a way of getting paid to do something other than man a till in a shop that might as well have been a walk-in freezer, turned into something I was really passionate about. And quite good at, if I say so myself!
I found that many small business owners, whether that be friends, family members, or even local electricians that came to fix the dishwasher, often commented that they could do with someone like me to help them. I realised that many of these people were caught in a catch 22, not enough time or knowledge to do it themselves, and not enough money or need to hire an agency’s help. I decided to launch ND Social as my final university project, establishing a brand name and widening my existing client base. This is my biggest project to date, and I'm really enjoying it working on it!
